一、 軟件界面對比測試

軟件界面是這款軟件留給用戶的第一印象，一款好的軟件界面應(yīng)該具有以下特征：界面簡約而不簡單、功能按鈕擺放方便用戶查看、界面不宜太花哨也不宜太陰暗，此外，界面配色應(yīng)該較為和諧。下面看看這幾款軟件的實(shí)際情況。

谷歌金山詞霸是近期谷歌和金山詞霸聯(lián)手強(qiáng)力打造的，該版本開啟了金山詞霸的免費(fèi)時代。軟件主界面采用淡藍(lán)色的背景，具有靚麗的漸變過渡，感覺與Vista一脈相承，比較迎合當(dāng)前用戶的口味。同時，從功能按鈕來看，查詞、搜索按鈕比較醒目，在輸入框中還有“請輸入查詢內(nèi)容”的提示，做得較為體貼。此外，在搜索的下方，給出了當(dāng)前的搜索熱詞，這是當(dāng)前很多網(wǎng)站和下載工具的常用手段，谷歌和金山在這方面做得比較好。在下方還有每日一句、互動話題以及論壇的精華文章等，總的感覺是，做得比較完善，很符合用戶的操作習(xí)慣。（圖1）

有道桌面詞典是網(wǎng)易公司推出的一款桌面查詞工具，該軟件結(jié)合了互聯(lián)網(wǎng)在線詞典和桌面詞典的優(yōu)勢，充分發(fā)揮了網(wǎng)絡(luò)的功能，軟件體積小，功能卻比較強(qiáng)大。在界面上，網(wǎng)易有道桌面詞典顯得中規(guī)中矩，只有“查詢”按鈕，在界面下方相應(yīng)的提示很少，倒是有點(diǎn)像廣告推薦，這一點(diǎn)明顯不如谷歌金山詞霸，查詢的輸入框也沒有提示。（圖2）

雅虎樂譯也可謂“師出名門”，它依托強(qiáng)大的雅虎全球搜索技術(shù)，給用戶提供了全面便捷的搜索翻譯功能。從軟件界面上來看，雅虎樂譯與谷歌金山詞霸有些類似，都做得較為體貼，比如有漢英解釋，有網(wǎng)絡(luò)解釋，提供了熱點(diǎn)推薦、相似單詞以及相關(guān)搜索，但明顯“熱點(diǎn)推薦”有廣告的嫌疑，在界面上，默認(rèn)也顯示的雅虎樂譯的介紹。這方面感覺比谷歌金山詞霸差一點(diǎn)，但整體感覺比有道詞典強(qiáng)很多。（圖3）

靈格斯詞霸是一款簡明易用的文本翻譯與詞典軟件，支持全球超過60多個國家語言的互查互譯、支持多語種光標(biāo)屏幕取詞、索引提示和語音朗讀功能，是新一代的詞典翻譯專家。與前幾款軟件相比，該軟件并非來自“豪門”，然而其功能卻絲毫不遜色。從界面上來看，靈格斯默認(rèn)界面顯示的是該詞典工具的最新更新情況以及軟件介紹，當(dāng)然也有必不可少的查詢輸入框，在輸入框下方有一排按鈕，如果不熟悉的用戶需要用鼠標(biāo)指向按鈕才能顯示按鈕功能，在這方面上感覺易用性稍差。

值得一提的是，在軟件右下角提供了匯率換算、國際電話區(qū)號以及度量衡換算等幾個實(shí)用工具，雖然此功能與翻譯無關(guān)，但感覺給人眼前一亮，想必這就是體貼的設(shè)計帶給我們的感受。（圖4）

點(diǎn)評：

在第一輪對比測試中，谷歌金山詞霸明顯勝出，不但在界面顏色上比較符合用戶習(xí)慣，而且功能按鈕分布合適，功能體貼。雅虎樂譯、靈格斯詞霸則步谷歌金山詞霸之后，兩者各有亮點(diǎn)，整體感覺雅虎樂譯功能入口更多，而靈格斯則相對簡單。此輪表現(xiàn)最差的是有道桌面詞典，功能顯得非常單一，人性化設(shè)計的元素幾乎沒有。

二、單詞查詢能力對比測試

前面對幾款軟件的界面進(jìn)行了對比，接下來我們關(guān)注的是翻譯軟件的功能，畢竟查詢詞匯才是我們選擇軟件的根本理由。我們以查詢“olympic”這個單詞為例來看看幾款軟件的具體表現(xiàn)。

谷歌金山詞霸中，輸入部分字母后，軟件會在下方提示相關(guān)的單詞，也就是我們常說的自動補(bǔ)全功能，回車后可以看到更詳細(xì)的解釋，查詢的結(jié)果默認(rèn)來自簡明英漢詞典和Google網(wǎng)絡(luò)詞典，很明顯，網(wǎng)絡(luò)詞典就是得益于金山與谷歌的合作。從查詢結(jié)果看，不但有單個詞匯的含義，還有例句可供大家學(xué)習(xí)。在最下方提供了同義詞。（圖5）

有道桌面詞典同樣具備自動補(bǔ)全的功能，在查詢結(jié)果中，同樣顯示了單詞含義，而且提供了網(wǎng)絡(luò)釋義，與谷歌金山詞霸大致類似。在查詢界面上，我們可以注意到有道桌面詞典有比較易用的“查詢提示”，其實(shí)就是相關(guān)詞匯的列表，者可以方便用戶查找相關(guān)詞匯。此外，有道桌面詞典還提供了“英英翻譯”，這非常難得，對于學(xué)習(xí)英語的專業(yè)用戶非常有用，因?yàn)橛械膯卧~在漢語意識上很接近，只有通過英語的注釋來體會其細(xì)微差異。（圖6）

雅虎樂譯可以自動補(bǔ)全，同時提供了英漢、英英解釋以及網(wǎng)絡(luò)解釋，此外，提供了相似單詞和相關(guān)搜索，基本功能與有道桌面詞典類似。（圖7）

靈格斯詞霸沒有自動補(bǔ)全功能，提供了單詞解釋和例句，但是沒有相似單詞，同時沒有提供英英解釋。（圖8）

點(diǎn)評：從這一輪的測試來看，網(wǎng)易有道桌面詞典表現(xiàn)比較突出，功能比較全，左側(cè)列表的展現(xiàn)形式上也讓用戶感覺比較體貼。而此輪測試中，靈格斯詞霸相對較弱，當(dāng)然這些主要差異也都體現(xiàn)在功能的多少上，就具體查詢某個詞的結(jié)果而言，他們都能查到準(zhǔn)確的結(jié)果，因?yàn)樗麄兌际墙柚渌脑~典進(jìn)行翻譯。值得一提的，幾款軟件都同時增加了網(wǎng)絡(luò)注釋，充分發(fā)揮了網(wǎng)絡(luò)的優(yōu)勢。

三、 屏幕取詞對比測試

屏幕取詞是現(xiàn)在很多詞典類工具都具備的一個功能，該功能可以實(shí)現(xiàn)“即指即譯”，省去大家再次輸入，然后進(jìn)行查詢的煩瑣步驟。那么這幾款軟件的表現(xiàn)又如何呢？

谷歌金山詞霸不僅可意對PDF文檔、菜單、按鈕等殊環(huán)境的取詞，還可以準(zhǔn)確識別出各種變形單詞、連接符單詞。谷歌金山詞霸還能夠直接從單詞的已選中區(qū)域中，截取相應(yīng)組合。值得一提的是，谷歌金山詞霸將屏幕取詞這一功能進(jìn)一步深化，新增了譯中譯取詞功能。譯中譯取詞即在取詞窗口閱讀時，若發(fā)現(xiàn)有陌生的字詞，可移動鼠標(biāo)進(jìn)行二次輔助取詞，給出該陌生詞的解釋。（圖9、圖10）

有道桌面詞典也具備屏幕取詞功能，大致功能相似，可以設(shè)置為“僅對英文取詞”，如果你只想了解英文單詞的含義，這一功能可以讓大家減少一些不必要的操作，因?yàn)殚_啟屏幕取詞后，有時你不想取詞查詢，不經(jīng)意間都會彈出取詞翻譯窗口。（圖11）

雅虎樂譯默認(rèn)的鼠標(biāo)取詞方式是把鼠標(biāo)停留在目標(biāo)詞上面，鼠標(biāo)處就會彈出一個小窗口，顯示當(dāng)前詞及相關(guān)翻譯結(jié)果。點(diǎn)擊懸浮窗口上的放大鏡圖標(biāo)，即可打開樂譯的主窗口，顯示該詞語的完整字典解釋；點(diǎn)擊寶貝魚圖標(biāo)，進(jìn)入翻譯結(jié)果；點(diǎn)擊寶貝魚右側(cè)的加號圖標(biāo)，會將該單詞添加到單詞本中。（圖12）

靈格斯詞霸也支持屏幕取詞，在該軟件的設(shè)置項(xiàng)中，可以設(shè)置對特定的哪些語種不取詞，比如不對拉丁文取詞，需要注意的是，要對PDF取詞，需要安裝Adobe Acrobat/Reaer取詞插件。（圖13）

點(diǎn)評：在屏幕取詞環(huán)節(jié)的測試中，幾款軟件的功能大致接近，只有谷歌金山詞霸新增了“譯中譯”取詞功能，獨(dú)具特色。

四、 句子和段落翻譯對比測試

除了查詢單詞的基本含以外，有時我們可能還需要查詢某些短語，甚至一些較長的段落的含義，因?yàn)橛械奈恼卤仨毥Y(jié)合上下文語境才能得出比較準(zhǔn)確的含義。這里我們首先以“Their softwares are second to none.”這個短句為例看看翻譯結(jié)果。（圖14、圖15、圖16、圖17）

點(diǎn)評：以上分別為谷歌金山詞霸、有道桌面詞典、雅虎樂譯、靈格斯詞霸四款軟件的翻譯結(jié)果，我們還選擇了其他幾個詞匯進(jìn)行了翻譯，從短句來看，翻譯結(jié)果基本都比較準(zhǔn)確可靠，不相上下。

下面再來看看這一個相對長的例句，也可以看著一個短的段落：

After the tragedy of 4/16 last year, you saw the best of the Virginia Tech students. Their ownership, their passion, their commitment to their university was second to none.

參考譯文：上學(xué)年4?16悲劇之后，你見證了弗吉尼亞理工大學(xué)最好的學(xué)生。他們的認(rèn)同感，他們的激情，他們對自己的學(xué)校的承諾都是首屈一指的。

下面看看四款詞典軟件的翻譯情況：

谷歌金山詞霸翻譯結(jié)果明顯具有“漢語式”翻譯的問題，比如“l(fā)ast year”直接翻譯成“去年”，而且放在原來英文對應(yīng)的位置，還有后面的翻譯也很生硬，整體感覺是“直譯”，是單詞的拼湊。（圖18）

有道桌面詞典并不是借助軟件直接翻譯，而是搜索網(wǎng)上的例句，如果正好有的，則結(jié)果相當(dāng)準(zhǔn)確，這一點(diǎn)也是網(wǎng)絡(luò)發(fā)揮了作用。（圖19）

雅虎樂譯的翻譯結(jié)果與谷歌金山詞霸的類似，直接翻譯，詞匯的堆砌。（圖20）

靈格斯詞霸翻譯結(jié)果仍然存在以上的幾個問題，感覺是沒有經(jīng)過后期加工的半成品，語序和詞匯都要在進(jìn)行處理，用戶不能直接引用其翻譯結(jié)果。（圖21）

點(diǎn)評：從以上的翻譯結(jié)果看，目前的詞典翻譯工具普遍都還存在翻譯長句、段落生澀的問題，只是簡單將詞匯的含義翻譯出來，拼湊在一起根本不知所云，完全沒有上下文邏輯關(guān)系，所以大家不能完全依賴詞典翻譯工具翻譯文章，只能當(dāng)一個輔助工具查詢詞匯，自己再度加工才能傳達(dá)準(zhǔn)確的含義。

五、奧運(yùn)詞匯翻譯對比測試

奧運(yùn)是舉國上下的大事，因此大家也異常關(guān)注，這里我們也來測試一下這幾個軟件在奧運(yùn)詞匯方面的翻譯能力如何，我們選取了“Olympic oath”（奧運(yùn)會宣誓詞）、“Olympic Anthem”（奧運(yùn)會會歌）、“candidate city”（候選城市）三個詞匯進(jìn)行測試。

其中谷歌金山詞霸的詞匯比較全，都能直接得到查詢結(jié)果，而有道桌面詞典和靈格斯詞霸則更多的是以例句的形式來體現(xiàn)：（圖22）

雅虎樂譯對“Olympic oath”（奧運(yùn)會宣誓詞）、“Olympic Anthem”（奧運(yùn)會會歌）、“candidate city”（候選城市）三個詞匯都不能翻譯，看來在這方面的功能較弱。（圖23、圖24）

以上三個詞匯都是詞組的形式，為了測試雅虎樂譯在奧運(yùn)詞匯方面的翻譯能力，我們再進(jìn)行了單個詞匯的測試，發(fā)現(xiàn)大部分都能準(zhǔn)確得到結(jié)果，比如前面查詢的“Olympic Anthem”不能得到結(jié)果，但查詢“Anthem”確是沒問題的。（圖25）

點(diǎn)評：從本輪的奧運(yùn)詞匯測試來看，雅虎樂譯的表現(xiàn)最差，谷歌金山詞霸的則在本輪勝出，從對比測試結(jié)果中，我們也可以看到，雅虎樂譯在詞組翻譯上還稍欠火候！

六、詞典功能對比測試

詞典翻譯工具翻譯的結(jié)果是否準(zhǔn)確，從根本上說是取決于軟件使用的詞典，比如我們要查詢專業(yè)的詞匯，如果在普通的詞典里查，肯定很難找到，因此，詞典文件在翻譯類軟件中占據(jù)相當(dāng)重要的位置。

谷歌金山詞霸為提供了13本通用詞典，默認(rèn)只開啟6本，谷歌金山詞霸允許用戶自行對其添加與卸載。同時，“查詞”、“取詞”與“查句”的詞典，是分開定義的。用戶可以分別針對上述三大版塊，設(shè)立不同的詞典組合，并對其排序。對于默認(rèn)沒有使用的詞典，只要點(diǎn)擊右側(cè)的詞典名稱，然后點(diǎn)擊“添加”按鈕即可添加到正在使用的詞典中。（圖26）

而網(wǎng)易有道詞典自帶了一個10萬詞條的精簡詞典，除此以外的所有解釋，都要通過網(wǎng)站來實(shí)時查詢。因此軟件并不允許用戶對詞典進(jìn)行任何操作，因此沒有相應(yīng)的詞典管理功能。

雅虎樂譯也是通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)在線實(shí)時查詢來獲取相關(guān)詞條解釋。但和有道桌面詞典不同的是，雅虎樂譯并不內(nèi)置任何詞庫，所有的查詢均需要網(wǎng)絡(luò)支持。但是，雅虎從人性化的角度出發(fā)，也為了幫助一些不方便實(shí)時上網(wǎng)的用戶，因此，如果用戶確有脫機(jī)查詢的需求，也可以點(diǎn)擊主菜單中的“添加詞庫”“點(diǎn)此立刻獲取”，下載一個脫機(jī)詞庫，以方便離線時使用。（圖27）

靈格斯詞霸默認(rèn)提供的詞典沒有谷歌金山詞霸多，但是也將查詞和取詞的詞典分開存放，用戶可以方便地自定義詞典次序。盡管靈格斯詞霸附帶的默認(rèn)詞典并不太多，但它卻允許用戶非常方便地通過官網(wǎng)，自由下載所需詞典。該軟件是免費(fèi)的，同時擴(kuò)展性能比較好，加上在線提供的詞典，功能也相當(dāng)強(qiáng)大了。（圖28）

點(diǎn)評：在詞典功能對比上，谷歌金山詞霸表現(xiàn)最好，其次是靈格斯詞霸軟件，最后是兩款在線搜索詞匯的有道桌面詞典和雅虎樂譯，它們幾乎沒有詞典功能，但卻可以搜索到較為準(zhǔn)確的翻譯結(jié)果，難能可貴！詞典文件少了，相應(yīng)的軟件也變小了，幾兆就可以搞定，不再是以前動輒數(shù)百兆的個頭了，也方便了大家的使用。

Hosting the Olympics surely would bring about much gain to a city. Boom of the local economy, more jobs, and the possibility of generating income all sound extremely attractive to the municipal government. At the same time, better infrastructure, cleaner environment, enjoying the spectacular game with hundreds of sports elites and entertainment stars, and the opportunity of contacting people from all over the world also seem exciting to the citizens. Besides, the bidding will definitely promote the patriotic emotion and pride, as well as the moral behavior in local people. In most cases, bidding for the Olympics is well supported by both the public and the central government.

Unfortunately, this is not the entire view of the pretty picture. If looking from another angle, the Olympic bid might bring about some side-effects to a city.

First of all, the environmental impacts, including the increasing exhaust fumes of cars, more pressure on water resources, huge amount of wasted leaflets and other materials used for public activities, are most probably neglected. Besides, if talking about the economic benefit, it should not be forgotten that a quick boosting may lead to bubble growth, which may easily crash. The certificate issued by China's national environmental authentication center on October 13 covers areas including BOCOG's office work, the event route planning, venue planning, partners selecting, contracted hotels selecting, communication and environmental management.

The BOCOG started establishing the EMS following BOCOG president Liu Qi's approval in April 2004. After experts' examination and appraisal of a trial practice of several months, the BOCOG passed the certification in September this year.

The system will be implemented from now on to ensure BOCOG's scientific management of the Olympiad's preparation and hosting.

thinking about a few years ago, when i saw the taxonomic dustbin in our community for the first time, the green olympic made no difference in my mind. i just regarded it as an interesting way to sort garbage. but when a few days later i raised my hands high up and was eager to be a member of "the communist youth league’s epd group", i told myself firmly, "it’s a great way to make contribution to the 2008’s beijing." maybe this is why i have that much passion on this great action. in the following months, we have activities such as picking up all the plastic things which are surrounded our school together with our teacher. we were all very excited about this meaningful thing. we also set up special dustbins for used batteries, so that we can both pollute less and recycle more. when seeing all the plastics and the batteries were carried on the truck which was going to the recycle factory to handle these things, we were all very happy about it. everyone forgot all the hardness. to let the dream of" green beijing" come true, all of us should give a hand. and at the same time, the actions of protecting the environment are going on, too. my father changed all the taps in my family into saving-water ones, and all the water we use are recycled for at least 2 or 3 times. i always can hear this ad on cri, it says, "5 million children died each year, just for the drinking water." so, help us to make the world safer. although my actions are rather small, but i think with all of you guys help, there will be a strong power.

the color green gives the olympic game a deeper meaning, green is in flowers, grasslands and in trees; green is in the sky, in the earth and in the sunshine. but to my opinion, green’s also in our minds, in our smiles and in the great love.

同時，環(huán)境保護(hù)的行動在我家也在進(jìn)行著。爸爸把家里所有的水龍頭都換成了節(jié)水型的水龍頭，而且所有的生活用水都至少被循環(huán)了兩到三次。我經(jīng)常會在中國國際廣播電臺聽到這樣的一則公益廣告："每年因缺水而死亡的兒童有500萬之多"，身為同樣生活在地球上的人類，我想我的行動雖然是微不足道的，但是如果大家都投身于節(jié)約用水和綠色環(huán)保的行動中來，那么我們的力量將是不可估量的。

綠色為奧運(yùn)會的舉辦賦予了更深廣的含義，綠色是花，是草，是樹；綠色是天，是地，是陽光；可是在我心里，綠色更是心，是笑，是愛。
