工作和游玩兩者對我們都是必須的，前者給我們知識，后者給我們休息。英諺說得好“工作時工作，游玩時游玩”。它使我們的生活愉快，有效率以及成功。

工作是一回事，游玩又是另一回事。整日工作自然不好。然而，整天游玩也是不好。當(dāng)你工作時，你應(yīng)認(rèn)真工作。那末當(dāng)你游玩時，你會覺得比較輕松愉快。那是不需說的。

我寧愿受苦難不愿失敗。換句話說，獲致成功是我唯一的愿望。我們大家知道成功要素很多。現(xiàn)在讓我們把它們最重要的寫在下面。

勤勉――一個人雖然不大聰明，但是他地能做成他的工作，如果他苦干的話。那是不容置疑的。

毅力――當(dāng)你失敗的時候，不要灰心。要繼續(xù)工作，直到你達(dá)到目的為止。

誠實(shí)――如果你說謊或不守信，沒有人會信賴你。我寧愿挨罵不愿欺騙人。
