The Journal of Current Environment and Sustainable Development is a national academic journal sponsored by the Environmental and Economic Policy Research Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China. The magazine was founded in 1976, originally titled "Environmental Science Dynamics". It was later renamed "Environment and Sustainable Development" in 2006 and published bimonthly. The magazine is committed to disseminating new concepts, technologies, and achievements in the field of environmental science and sustainable development, and promoting exchanges and cooperation between academia and industry.
The magazine mainly publishes original research papers, reviews, comments, and policy analyses in the field of environmental science and sustainable development. Its column settings are rich and diverse, including ecological environment protection and economic development, marine ecological environment governance, ecological environment policies, energy and climate change, etc., covering all aspects of environmental science comprehensively.
