Journal of Contemporary Asia is a publication with a long history and great influence, which has always adhered to the principle of quarterly publication. At its inception, the magazine was positioned as a supplement and alternative to the mainstream views on contemporary Asian issues, aiming to provide a new perspective and in-depth discussion space for scholars and researchers in Asia and even globally. The content of this magazine covers a wide range of issues related to the economic, political, and social development of Asia, particularly in areas such as economic development, political economy, agriculture, planning, the working class, people's movements, politics and power, imperialism and imperialism, international financial institutions, environment, and economic history.
